HOLLINS FARM

The owners of a spacious rural home which was previously a farmhouse with attached barns invited me to help update their decoration and furnishings.

Having lived in the home for 12 years they were ready for a new look and were particularly keen to change the appearance of their lounge to a style reminiscent of a Canadian ski lodge, the secondary staircase needed modernising and brightening up and and the master bedroom had become oppressive with the heavy pine furniture but the owners were keen to retain the style of the furniture so it was refurbished and lightened to complement the new scheme.

The owners were clear about the look they wanted to achieve, but were short of ideas, and running a business, also short of time to source the items needed.

I use various platforms to get a feel for my clients tastes, sharing ideas through email, text & social media. By the time we meet to clarify the final details, it is normally completed with one visit, also saving precious time.

I like to make my clients feel comfortable enough to be able to say no, and with many years of experience, I have the ability to quickly get a feel for their taste of design & décor and enjoy working with them and within their budget to achieve the look they desire.
